METHANOL

Methanol is methyl alchohol or wood alcohol, and is widely used as a gas line anti-freeze and conditioner. It is very effective in keeping water suspended in gasoline to prevent freezing. It should not be used in diesel engines. When mixed in the proper ratio with water it is an ideal windshield washer solvent. It is also used very effectively in natural gas lines to prevent moisture build-up and freezing.

Methanol is highly flammable and poisonous and should be handled accordingly.
