History
Founded in 1921, West Penn Oil began operations as an oil brokerage company. Unlike other brokerage firms of the time, West Penn always purchased products produced from Pennsylvania crude oil and established ownership in their own name before selling these purchased products.
After many years of engaging in arbitrage transactions and operating a container filling plant, West Penn converted their plant to a high-speed filling facility. In an effort to secure contract packaging in larger volume, modern filling equipment was purchased and installed.
While maintaining a focused commitment to the contract packaging operations, West Penn products and reputation for quality will assure the company's long-term growth and profitability into the next century.
